Overview We are seeking a Bilingual Engineering Student for our Ottawa District in Gatineau , within our Canadian Buildings Division . The internship is 4 months from May 2026 to August 2026 .Employee Status : Internship Full-TimeRequisition : 11039 Responsibilities Conduct deficiency walks and verify site conditions. Coordinate and supervise sub-trade work and track site progress. Mark up, update drawings, and coordinate with drawings and quality assurance reviews. Review trade quotes, verifying material quantities, hours, and rates. Perform quantity take-offs and participate in project meetings. Produce as-built drawings and maintain record keeping. Track photos and update deficiency logs. Qualifications Working towards a degree or diploma in a civil engineering related field. Bilingual in English and French. Eligible for Government security clearance (Basic Reliability). A passion for working in a construction environment. Experience with computer software programs, including word processing, spreadsheets, and drafting. Self‑motivation with a hands‑on approach. Prior field construction experience is considered an asset.
