Outside Sales Representativespartner with contractors to fully understand their needs and assist in planning construction projects. As knowledgeable sales professionals, contractor sales representatives are able to make recommendations which solve customers’ problems. Responsibilities Demonstrates high standards of safety and customer service Is a resource of knowledge for our customers Produces quotes, material lists and follows up on deliveries Achieves weekly, monthly and annual sales targets Maintains a contact list and contact schedule for prospective and existing customers Grows the geographic sales area by building new relationships with contractors and strengthening relationships with existing accounts Cold-calling new customers to build their business portfolio Continually learns about products and market conditions Qualifications Confident, energetic and self-motivated Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Organized, and can manage changing priorities and meet deadlines Ability to quickly develop a trusting relationship with new customers, and build rapport with existing customers Experience in sales is preferred Knowledge of construction products is an asset Ability to work remotely from varies locations A valid driver’s license is required About the Team Industrial Commercial Supplies (ICS) provides building materials specifically for commercial and industrial projects in Atlantic Canada. We are dedicated to serving commercial contractors with specialty commercial products for the entire building envelope. We work with the best brands in the commercial building space for interior fit up, commercial roofing, foundation supplies, above and below grade membranes and coatings as well as the required tools and accessories.
