Administrative Component In accordance with established mission, vision and values of the organization, this position is accountable for the administration, supervision, planning and budgeting of the department. Reporting to the Health Services Administrator on administrative matters, this position is responsible for monitoring and managing budgets, workload, quality, labour relations and human resource issues. The incumbent is responsible for interpreting and implementing all organizational regulations, policies and procedures as they apply to Medical Imaging services. Lead Technologist Component The position is responsible for ensuring that standards for the Diagnostic Imaging staff are consistent with regulatory/accrediting body standards and relevant legislation. Provides clinical guidance to designated Medical Imaging staff practicing in the facility. Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Rotating, Days - 08:00 to 16:00. This position works Stat Holidays, but does not work Weekends. The Lakes District Hospital It is a 16-bed facility that sees an average of 12,000 ER visits per year. The services include: Diagnostic Imaging Laboratory Pharmacy Rehabilitation Services Palliative Care Acute Care Public Health Home and Community Care Burns Lake is located in the heart of the Lakes District, an area boasting over 4,800 kilometers of lake shoreline. The village has a diverse population of 2,000 residents and serves a surrounding area of approximately 13,000 residents of the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako. With two of the six local First Nations communities located within municipal boundaries, Burns Lake has a strong sense of culture and incredible local talents to showcase.
