We are assisting our respectable client in the non-profit sector with the search for an MS Dynamics Solution Architect who will join their team on a permanent full time basis.


Reporting to the Senior Manager of Software Development you will act as a technical expert of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Customer Engagement (CE) leading the design of the D365-based solutions.


In this role you will provide the D365 functional, technical and solution architecture expertise to develop multi-technology solutions aligned with the industry-accepted and internal best practices.


The SA also oversees the development and implementation of the application integration architecture.


Location : Canada (Remote)

Salary : $115 - 135K per year with excellent benefits, 4 weeks of vacation, pension plan and more


Major responsibilities:

  • Defines the overall application architecture and design decisions during a project.
  • Provide a senior development resource to the team, delivering enterprise solutions based on the MS D365 and its platforms.
  • Facilitates discussions with business and technical stakeholders to extract critical business requirements and presents a technical vision and solutions in the form of software products, modules, configurations, customizations, and integrations to meet those needs within Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform.
  • Assesses the systems’ architectures currently in place and works with Development team to define future state.
  • Supports the Business Systems Analysts with requirements gathering and provide design guidance for Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform projects.
  • Collaborates with the external vendors on proposing, designing, and implementing solution architectures involving third-party SaaS solutions.
  • Owns the specifications and requirements into the systems architecture.
  • Designs, implements, and leads the delivery for an integrated system that meets the client’s vision.


Qualifications :

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience of building solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform product.
  • Must have proven skills in technical architecture or solution architecture with Dynamics 365.
  • Must have work experience with the .NET Framework, C# development
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 F&O and/or Dynamics AX Finance Modules is preferred
  • Professional certification in Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform & Azure certifications is a nice-to-have.
  • Experience developing custom applications and integrations directly with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform and Azure is preferred.
  • Experience with leading or participating in the gathering and documenting of business processes and requirements for the system with key business users.
