LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior MS Dynamics/Power Platform Developer for a permanent position with its Ottawa-based customer.

Key Tasks

  • Defines and documents the overall application architecture and design decisions during a project to meet client requirements, ensuring solutions align with business goals and processes, and fit within the enterprise context
  • Provide a senior development resource to the team, delivering enterprise solutions based on the MS D365 and its platforms
  • Facilitates discussions with business and technical stakeholders to extract critical business requirements and presents a technical vision and solutions in the form of software products, modules, configurations, customizations, and integrations to meet those needs within Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform
  • Leads the technical side of the internal ‘pre-sales’ activities as required including designing and building demo and proof of concept solutions for various client presentations as well as presenting to client
  • Assesses the systems’ architectures currently in place and works with Development team to define future state
  • Supports the Business Systems Analysts with requirements gathering and provide design guidance for Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform projects. Leads workshops with clients, documents requirements where needed and designs appropriate solutions
  • In close collaboration with and input from the Manager, Developers and QA teams, develops and presents the realistic effort and resource estimates for the projects
  • Is a strong advocate for adherence to standards and best practice
  • Provides best practices and solution alternatives as part of functional or technical design documents
  • Effectively leads client-facing meetings by presenting information and solutions and capturing and distributing action items
  • Collaborates with the Transformation Office and external vendors on proposing, designing, and implementing solution architectures involving third-party SaaS solutions
  • Stays current on Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement, Power Platform, Azure, and related technologies
  • Owns the specifications and requirements into the systems architecture
  • Designs, implements, and leads the delivery for an integrated system that meets the client’s vision
  • Ensures end-to-end solution cohesion and correctness
  • Mentor junior resources providing guidance and leadership within the team


Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of recent hands-on development experience of building solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and the Microsoft Power Platform product
  • Experience with integration services such as MS Power Automate and Azure Integration Services and proven experience working with the Dynamics 365/CRM SDK to build plugins, custom workflows, and applications
  • Proven experience as a technical architect, or solution architect with Dynamics 365. This includes demonstrated experience developing and maintaining technical architectures, documentation, frameworks, and strategies as they relate to Microsoft Dynamics implementations


Qualifications

  • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent education/experience
  • Professional certification in Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform & Azure certifications
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 F&O and/or Dynamics AX Finance Modules
  • Experience with the .NET Framework, C# development and various JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as vue.js, React and Typescript
  • Experience developing custom applications and integrations directly with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform and Azure
  • Scrum methodology awareness and previous work in an agile environment
