Job Responsibilities As our Compact Construction & Turf Equipment Sales Representative , you will represent Huron Tractor by promoting the sale of new and used atrd Deere equipment to current and potential customers in a defined sales territory. This position reports to the Branch Manager and responsibilities include: Sale of Compact Construction & Turf equipment including but not limited to: Skid Steers, Wheel Loaders, Excavators, Utility Tractors, Utility Vehicles, Lawn Mowers, and Attachments. Assessment of customer needs to recommend the appropriate mix of products and services. Maintain and grow your knowledge of products and technology to deliver impactful demonstrations and ongoing support. Prepare and administer sales contracts following a defined sales process. Leverage financing products to provide flexible payment options to your customers. Stay current on knowledge of used equipment values for proper trade-in evaluations. Create and maintain customer profiles to enable effective sales management. Attend applicable sales training events. Skills and Qualifications 2+ years of experience in equipment sales is required. 2+ years of post-secondary education or equivalent relevant work experience. Solid understanding of the construction and/or turf industry would be an asset. Ability to build excellent customer relationships. High energy and a positive attitude are a must. Demonstrates initiative and organization to maximize sales on the territory. Able to work flexible and extended hours. Must nahm possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Hold a valid A-Restricted Driver’s License or would be willing and able to obtain one. Proficient computer and software skills. The posted pay range reflects the skills and qualifications listed above. Commissions and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Wage Range $70k-$100k per year This position includes a draw-against-commission structure with is guaranteed for the first year Commission performance is reviewed annually. High performers may receive additional commissions Placement within the pay range is based on skills, experience, and qualifications Why Huron Tractor?
