Job Responsibilities
As our
Compact Construction & Turf Equipment Sales Representative
, you will represent Huron Tractor by promoting the sale of new and used John Deere equipment to current and potential customers in a defined sales territory.

This position reports to the Branch Manager and responsibilities include:

• Sale of Compact Construction & Turf equipment including but not limited to: Skid Steers, Wheel Loaders, Excavators, Utility Tractors, Utility Vehicles, Lawn Mowers, and Attachments.
• Assessment of customer needs to recommend the appropriate mix of products and services.
• Maintain and grow your knowledge of products and technology to deliver impactful demonstrations and ongoing support.
• Prepare and administer sales contracts following a defined sales process.
• Leverage financing products to provide flexible payment options to your customers.
• Stay current on knowledge of used equipment values for proper trade-in evaluations.
• Create and maintain customer profiles to enable effective sales management.
• Attend applicable sales training events.

Skills And Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in equipment sales is preferred.
• 2+ years of post-secondary education or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Solid understanding of the construction and/or turf industry would be an asset.
• Ability to build excellent customer relationships.
• High energy and a positive attitude are a must.
• Demonstrates initiative and organization to maximize sales on the territory.
• Able to work flexible and extended hours.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Hold a valid A-Restricted Driver's License or would be willing and able to obtain one.
• Proficient computer and software skills.
