This role is primarily responsible for the technical direction and quality of derivatives portfolio management and accounting within Singularity product* **Technical strategy and ownership:** Establish the technical vision and direction for major software components and systems. Ensure that architectural designs align with long-term business goals.* **Complex problem-solving:** Tackle the most challenging technical issues, providing innovative and creative solutions that move the project forward and prevent future problems.* **Hands-on development:** Continue to be deeply involved in hands-on coding, especially for critical and complex components of the software.* **Mentorship and guidance:** Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to mid-level and junior engineers. Help upskill the team and foster a culture of technical excellence.* **Cross-functional collaboration:** Work closely with product managers, designers, quality assurance engineers, and engineering managers to translate business needs into technical specifications and timelines.**What You Will Bring:*** **Extensive technical experience:** A proven track record of 6–10+ years as a hands-on software engineer, with deep expertise in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and software design principles.* **System architecture:** Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system integration. They are capable of designing scalable, robust, and maintainable systems.* **Leadership and influence:** Strong leadership abilities with a focus on technical direction rather than direct people management.
