We are a fast-growing youth sports organization operating across multiple locations across the US and Canada . We create exceptional experiences for children and families while running a complex, operationally driven business behind the scenes. We are seeking a strategic Director of Finance to lead all financial aspects of a growing, multi-entity organization. This role is ideal for professionals that thrive in competitive environments , can balance strategy with execution, and have a proven ability to drive profitability, scale operations, and support complex growth initiatives . The Director of Finance will join the executive team—providing insight, structure, and financial discipline while enabling growth. Requirements Strategic Leadership Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute long-term strategic plans, including growth initiatives, acquisitions, and operational scaling. Translate business plans into integrated financial models, budgets, forecasts, and KPIs tailored to multi-location and seasonal operations. Lead enterprise-level financial modeling, scenario analysis, and ROI evaluation to support data-driven decision-making. Provide scenario analysis and ROI modeling for: New facility launches Program and pricing decisions Marketing spend and customer acquisition Staffing and capacity planning Financial Operations & Performance Oversee all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities across multiple entities. Ensure financial and operational compliance. Implement proactive cost management and margin improvement initiatives to drive sustained profitability. Develop dashboards and performance reporting that connect operational KPIs to financial outcomes. Manage relationships with external investors. Secure and manage financing for growth initiatives and capital projects. Oversee treasury functions including cash flow forecasting, working capital optimization, debt restructuring, and FX strategy (as applicable). Systems, Process & Scale Build scalable financial systems and processes. Improve accuracy, efficiency, and insight through automation and streamlined workflows. Leadership & Stakeholder Management Build, lead, and mentor high-performing finance team. Act as a trusted financial advisor to internal stakeholders and external partners.
