Role and Facility Information Fraser Health Authority (FHA) and the Mental Health and Substance Use Program are seeking a psychiatrist. This position involves a combination of Inpatient Psychiatry at Chilliwack General Hospital and Community Psychiatry in the Chilliwack, Agassiz, and Hope Communities, with a primary focus on adult psychiatry. Key Responsibilities Deliver high‑quality care to general psychiatric patients as part of multidisciplinary teams across all sites. Assess, treat, and consult on patients; conduct family meetings, participate in case conferences, facilitate discharge planning, and collaborate with other physicians and teams. Promote continuity of care by fostering positive relationships with all involved in patient care and advocating for the psychiatric needs of individual patients. Participate in electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and on‑call rotations. Contribute to the medical education program for University of British Columbia (UBC) undergraduate and postgraduate trainees. Qualifications & Appointment Upon receiving a CPSBC license, arrangements will be made to apply for a clinical appointment with the Department of Psychiatry, UBC.
