Senior Pilot Plant Leader A confidential North American innovator in the advanced materials and clean technology space is seeking an exceptional Pilot Plant Leader with deep expertise in hydrometallurgical process development and scale‑up. This search is being conducted confidentially and discretion will be maintained throughout the process. About The Opportunity The successful candidate will take a hands‑on leadership role in the piloting and commercialization of a hydrometallurgical process designed for sustainable metals recovery and refining. You will play a pivotal part in bridging laboratory innovation and industrial implementation – overseeing pilot operations, data generation, process optimization, and scale‑up planning. Key Responsibilities Lead pilot plant operations focused on hydrometallurgical process development Translate lab‑scale chemistry into robust pilot‑scale systems Develop process parameters, operational protocols, and safety procedures Manage equipment design, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting Generate detailed technical reports and recommendations for full‑scale commercialization Collaborate cross‑functionally with R&D, engineering, and operations teams Ideal Profile 8+ years of experience in pilot plant operations or process scale‑up Deep understanding of hydrometallurgy, solvent extraction, leaching, precipitation, or related processes Demonstrated success taking a process from concept to pilot to production Strong technical acumen paired with practical, hands‑on problem‑solving ability Experience in battery materials, critical minerals, or recycling is a plus but not required Company Location The company is located in Canada and this role will require you to be on‑site.
