What You'll Do Lead the comprehensive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes for all Capital and Technology investments across Loblaw Digital, Media and Loyalty portfolios (LDML), ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Serve as a trusted financial partner to various Loblaw Digital business units, proactively collaborating to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, optimize financial performance, and drive operational process improvements. Spearhead the financial evaluation and development of compelling business cases for significant capital projects, particularly those related to evolving e-commerce fulfillment models. Oversee the meticulous tracking, analysis, and reporting of capital expenditures against approved budgets, ensuring fiscal discipline. Proactively conduct in-depth ad-hoc financial analysis to assess new business initiatives, investment decisions, and strategic projects, translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership. Provide effective guidance, coaching, and mentorship to one direct report, fostering professional growth, enhancing technical capabilities, and ensuring high-quality output from the finance team. Continuously evaluate and enhance existing financial processes, systems, and controls related to capital and technology spend, driving efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Develop and monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of capital and technology investments, providing regular performance updates and strategic insights to stakeholders. What you bring University degree in Business, Analytics, or Finance, an ideal candidate will also possess an accounting designation (CPA) or MBA Minimum of 5 -7 years' finance or accounting experience Professional Finance Designations such as CPA-CMA, or MBA preferred Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to bring together and manage interactions with employees from across the organization Proven People Management and Coaching skills Strong eye for business, with an ability to focus on continuous improvement Excellent oral and written communication skills Results-oriented and Critical Thinking skills Advanced Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot table, x-lookup, sumif, and creating formulas) Familiarity with SAP and MicroStrategy will be an asset Ability to work well independently and as part of a team How You’ll Succeed At Loblaw Digital, we seek great people to continually strengthen our culture.We believe great people model our values, are authentic, build trust and make connections.
