What You’ll Do As a Solutions Architect, you’ll be part of the pre‑sales team, helping prospective customers understand how Brex fits into their systems and processes. You’ll collaborate with account executives, customer success, and product teams to provide a technical perspective throughout the sales cycle, explain Brex’s platform, and guide conversations on integrations, APIs, security, and system compatibility. Where you’ll work This role is based in our Vancouver office. It is a hybrid environment with at least two coordinated office days per week (Wednesday and Thursday) and up to four weeks of fully remote work. Starting February 2, 2026, three office days will be required (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday). Responsibilities Provide technical guidance during the sales process, helping customers understand integration with their existing systems such as HRIS and ERP platforms (Workday, UKG, NetSuite, Sage, SAP, QuickBooks). Support conversations around API capabilities, advising on secure and scalable connections and SSO setup using Okta, Azure Active Directory, and Google Workspace. Answer technical questions related to security, compliance, and data management, referencing Brex’s trust portal and documentation. Collaborate with account executives, customer success managers, product managers, and engineers to clarify possibilities with Brex and inform the product roadmap. Travel may be required (up to 30%) for in‑person customer meetings or internal events. Requirements 2+ years in a technical role focused on system integrations (e.g., Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant). Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, IT, or a closely related field. Solid understanding or experience with HRIS and/or ERP systems such as Workday, SuccessFactors, ADP, UKG, NetSuite, Sage, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks. Familiarity with API design principles (REST, GraphQL), usage, and data formats (JSON, XML). Understanding of IAM solutions, including SSO protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC) and IdPs like Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace. Awareness of SaaS security best practices and compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001). Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for technical and non‑technical audiences. Strong problem‑solving and customer‑centric mindset with a record of technical solution delivery. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment. Bonus points Experience leading enterprise integrations across multiple systems globally. Familiarity with fintech or spend management platforms and industry workflows. Experience with compliance‑heavy environments (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS) and security reviews. Background in a start‑up or high‑growth tech company. Compensation The expected OTE range for this role is $170,400 to $213,000. Base salary and commissions will vary with location, skills, experience, market conditions, and internal parity.
