Apply for this amazing opportunity if this sounds like a good fit for youAdvantagesWhat’s in it for youAs a consultant with our client, you’ll receive:- Highly competitive market hourly rates- A 6 month contract with a strong probability of extension- Remote interview processResponsibilities• Lead the design and evolution of technology solutions across the architecture lifecycle, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with enterprise standards. • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Project/Program Managers, and Analysts to define project requirements, success criteria, and design guidance throughout the development lifecycle. • Actively participate in and present at architecture design reviews, advocating for sound design principles and engineering best practices. • Proactively engage cross-functional stakeholders, gather organizational context, and incorporate insights into architectural decisions. • Identify and document deviations from future-state architecture, escalating where necessary to maintain architectural integrity. • Clearly communicate trade-offs in architecture approaches; adapt processes to project and team needs. • Contribute to the Architecture Community of Practice, sharing knowledge and presenting at internal events to foster alignment and growth across teams. • Continue to investigate new and innovative technologies to evolve the future state architecture in partnership with other Architects in the department • Develop and monitor adherence to integration standards and will utilize these standards to design solutions that meet operational requirements, such as scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, availability, and manageability • Deep understanding of integration technologies and practices as well as the business acumen to develop overarching system designs • Mentor delivery teams on adopting new ideas/technologies • Have a forward-thinking, empathy driven mindset with people and development at the forefront Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree and/or applicable experience in information/computer technology field. • 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, cloud-based software systems. • 5+ years of experience in architecting retail/supply chain applications is preferred. • Proven expertise in cloud platforms, with hands-on experience in AWS (preferred), Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Experience integrating with Cloud/SaaS applications, API’s, SDK of packaged applications and legacy applications. • Experience building microservices is required. • Strong capabilities in data architecture, including analytics pipelines, visualization frameworks, and scalable data solutions. • Experience working and leading in a DevOps operating model utilizing Cloud infrastructure. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism in working collaboratively at all levels inside and outside of the organization. • Strong collaboration skills to achieve business goals collectively across broad teams. • Challenges the status quo, champions change and influences others to change. • Strong preference for those with supply chain application experience especially in logistics technology.
