Altis Recruitment is thrilled to collaborate with a distinguished professional institute, seeking an experienced individual to lead their Public Relations team. The Team Lead, Public Relations will spearhead the development, execution, and oversight of comprehensive internal and external public relations, communications, marketing, and market research initiatives. This role is crucial in ensuring all communications align with the institute's strategic vision.


This is a (18-month) contract, full-time position. Perks: 3 weeks vacation, 8 paid sick days, 4 wellness days, christmas and new year closure and much more The successful candidate will start in July.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Public Relations & Brand Management (25%)
  • Develop and implement strategic PR plans to enhance and protect the institute's brand reputation.
  • Supervise the production of all PR materials, ensuring consistency with the institute's strategic messaging and brand voice.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators for PR and marketing strategies.
  • Act as a spokesperson for the institute, managing media relations and public appearances.


  • Communications (25%)
  • Ensure all communication materials are crafted to resonate with diverse audiences in both of the nation's official languages.
  • Supervise copywriting and editing tasks, maintaining the institute’s style guide.
  • Manage the creation of content for speeches, presentations, and other public materials.
  • Develop and execute strategies for member communications to strengthen engagement.


  • Marketing (20%)
  • Direct marketing initiatives for the institute's array of programs, including membership drives and professional development offerings.
  • Communicate marketing plans internally before public rollout.
  • Establish and maintain best practices for media buying and partnerships.


  • Management and Administration (30%)
  • Manage office resources to support team productivity.
  • Liaise with other department managers to identify and address obstacles to success.
  • Assist in developing annual operational plans and budgets, tracking financial performance against goals.


Position Scope / Key Dimensions:

  • Provide strategic support to both senior and executive management teams.
  • Manage external consultants for market research, communications, and public relations training programs.


Educational and Professional Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience in communications and marketing within a professional institute setting.
  • A university degree in business marketing, public relations/communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated excellence in both written and verbal communication skills.
