In this role, you’ll work within cross‑functional, agile product teams to design and deliver user‑centred digital services. You’ll provide architectural leadership from discovery through delivery, helping teams modernize systems and build efficient, secure, and scalable solutions. What You’ll Do Lead solution architecture for citizen‑focused digital services Define and communicate architectural vision, patterns, and standards Guide agile teams through iterative delivery and technical decision‑making Balance delivery of user stories and technical work Review and contribute to code as needed Mentor developers and technical leads Support system integration, modernization, and cloud‑native solutions Communicate architecture concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years leading architecture for enterprise‑scale digital solutions Experience leading cross‑functional agile teams Strong background in solution architecture, integrations, and modernization Experience working with UX, service design, or human‑centred design approaches Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Nice to Have Cloud‑native, microservices, and API‑driven architectures CI/CD, DevSecOps, and secure development practices Legacy modernization and incremental transformation Containerization and infrastructure‑as‑code Public sector digital delivery or enterprise architecture experience Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Contract Job function: Information Technology Industry: Government Relations Services Location: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Salary: CA$76,000.00 - CA$139,000.00 Thanks in advance to all the applicants #J-18808-Ljbffr
