Lawlor has been serving clients with a brain injury for over 25 years and is proud to have RSWs who have been with us since the beginning.
We are accepting applications for part time, hourly experienced Rehabilitation Support Workers. Typically client sessions are between the hours of 9am- 5pm Monday to Friday.
Currently need support for clients in the Huntsville and Midland area .
*Travel compensation will be provided.
Rehabilitation Support Workers facilitate community rehabilitation programs directed by regulated health care professionals to assist people to reach their rehabilitation goals following a brain injury, work-related illness or accident, mental health diagnosis, or spinal cord injury.
Education and Experience working with individuals who sustained a brain injury is essential. A minimum of three years ABI and/or related experience is required.
The position requires staff to travel and transport clients in their own car and they must carry appropriate auto insurance. RSWs must be willing to drive up to an hour from their home to see clients in their communities. Travel time is reimbursed.
We offer employee and independent contractor positions ($30 to $38/ hour) and also offer employee health benefits, vacation, holiday pay, EI benefits.
This is not a Personal Support Worker position.
