I'm looking for a administrative agent - Billing for my client in downtown Montreal. This is a permanent, face-to-face contract in the heart of downtown.

Your responsibilities:

  • Identify customer files to be invoiced
  • Prepare draft invoices according to customer agreement specifications
  • Send invoices, credit notes and statements to customers
  • Issue and transmit invoices on various electronic platforms
  • Process lawyers' time entries in the accounting system
  • Prepare lawyers' expense accounts
  • Open new clients and new physical and electronic files

  • File and print documents
  • Conduct conflict of interest searches
  • Archive files
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Hold a post-secondary diploma in accounting (AEC, DEP, DEC) or a DEC in accounting administration,
  • 1 to 3 years' relevant experience, ideally combining billing and customer service
  • Secretarial diploma or training, with legal specialization (an asset)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English.
