Responsibilities Responsible for a broad range of assessment activities including asbestos, designated substances and hazardous materials, construction related infection control, mold, indoor air quality and industrial/occupational hygiene Assist with Phase I & II environmental site assessments, as well as other environmental remediation projects (where required) Collect samples pertaining to the above noted assessments, including submission to laboratories for analysis Conduct site work associated with the monitoring of hazardous material abatement projects (i.e. asbestos, mold), including inspection of contractor activities and collection of air samples Prepare technical reports detailing the findings and recommendations from on‑Site inspections Maintain quality control by ensuring accuracy in reporting, sample collections and laboratory submissions Preparation of proposals for the above‑noted project types Regular travel to project sites throughout Southern Ontario, including but not limited to Niagara, Hamilton, Halton, Peel, GTA, Waterloo Region and London, is required. Required to have access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license for travel to project sites.
