You might be in the right place About the Role Lightspeed is looking for an Account Executive, Outbound to join our high performing Retail sales team in North America. This is a full cycle Account Executive role. You’ll generate pipeline through prospecting, booking meetings and owning the sales process from initial outreach to demo and close. This role is hybrid, based out of our Old Port Montreal office, with in-office days every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. What You’ll Be Doing Generate pipeline with a combination of phone and email outreach Reach out into specific market segments as defined by leadership and learn from cadences & continuously optimize touchpoints Lead one‑on‑one screen‑sharing presentations/demos as required Manage a sales pipeline with multiple prospects utilizing Salesforce, forecast sales pipeline to leadership, and ensure monthly KPIs are met Work closely with Sales Development Reps to close cold outbound sourced opportunities Collaborate with the team to grow the business and negotiate pricing with management Achieve and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas What You Need To Bring Experience with outbound sales, calling cold leads and converting conversations into meetings Track record of forecasting a pipeline and meeting daily/weekly/monthly KPIs Top performance history in previous roles Experience with Salesforce.com and SaaS sales Retail sales experience is a plus Passion to build your career at Lightspeed Benefits Hybrid work environment: 3 days/week in office with flexible days Career growth opportunities in a company that creates jobs everyday RSU program – ownership opportunity Unlimited paid time off policy Flexible working policy Health insurance and wellness benefits Paid leave assistance for new parents LinkedIn Learning and volunteer days Lightspeed is a proud equal opportunity employer and we are committed to creating an inclusive and barrier‑free workplace.
