Overview Primary Job Title: Senior Product Manager Alternate / Related Job Titles: Senior Data Platform Product Manager Senior Technical Product Manager – Data & Cloud Platform Product Manager Data Infrastructure Product Manager Location & Onsite Flexibility Toronto, ON — Hybrid 3 days onsite / 2 days remote (subject to change) Position Type: Contract Contract Duration: Approximately 6 months Start: As Soon As Possible Pay Rate: CAD $100–$110/hr Role Overview The Senior Product Manager will support the Data Platform team , responsible for enabling scalable, secure, and reliable data and cloud infrastructure solutions. This role owns platform strategy and execution across a complex data ecosystem including Azure, Databricks, data warehouses, ETL pipelines, analytics, and visualization tools. The Product Manager partners closely with engineering, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure delivery aligns with enterprise priorities, governance standards, and long-term platform evolution. Key Responsibilities Risk Management Proactively identify and mitigate delivery and operational risks Apply best practices to improve project and portfolio outcomes Vendor Collaboration Oversee vendor relationships and resources to ensure alignment with scope, timelines, and quality standards Stakeholder Collaboration Apply a governance-first mindset to portfolio management Engage stakeholders to understand enterprise data needs and requirements Ensure alignment between platform initiatives and organizational goals Prepare materials for and participate in steering committee meetings Delivery & Execution Partner with engineering leads on sprint planning, delivery, and release management Make informed decisions on trade-offs, prioritization, and technical constraints Monitor platform KPIs including performance, reliability, cost efficiency, and adoption Backlog Ownership Own and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, feasibility, security, and compliance Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria Balance near-term delivery with long-term platform strategy Required Skills & Qualifications Required: Senior-level experience as a Product Manager supporting data, cloud, or platform products Strong understanding of data platforms and cloud infrastructure Experience working with technologies such as Azure, Databricks, data warehouses, ETL pipelines, analytics, and visualization tools Proven ability to manage complex backlogs and stakeholder priorities Strong experience partnering with engineering teams in agile environments Excellent communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills Preferred: Experience in large enterprise or regulated environments Strong understanding of governance, security, and compliance considerations for data platforms About GTT GTT is a minority-owned staffing firm and a subsidiary of Chenega Corporation, a Native American-owned company in Alaska.
