Working closely with our offices in Labrador City, Montréal and Mont-Saint-Hilaire, this team is actively involved in developing the Sept-Îles region and in executing various projects in the mining and metals, and energy sectors. You’ll play an essentially technical and project management role in the mandates assigned to you. Help write technical reports. Lead and participate in designing plans, specifications and details based on guidelines from a senior engineer. Perform design calculations and ensure that plans meet guidelines as well as code requirements and other regulations. Prepare material lists and bills of lading in accordance with codes, standards, drawings and other methods in compliance with BBA’s quality system requirements. Provide recommendations on establishing standards and other practical applications. Coordinate the work of drafters or other team members. Assign and review the work of less experienced engineers, technicians and support staff. Ensure work complies with established budgets, schedules, estimates and procedures. Plan, organize, lead and coordinate projects. Perform technical information surveys. Help commission and troubleshoot systems.Help draft proposals.
