Role Overview: The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing and recruiting top talent while also enhancing the employment brand to support Helping Hands Healthcare’s growth and success. This position develops and executes effective recruiting strategies, manages the full-cycle recruitment process, and collaborates with hiring managers to ensure a seamless and efficient hiring and onboarding experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for talent, and a deep understanding of recruitment best practices.

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing and recruiting top talent while also enhancing the employment brand to support Helping Hands Healthcare’s growth and success. This position develops and executes effective recruiting strategies, manages the full-cycle recruitment process, and collaborates with hiring managers to ensure a seamless and efficient hiring and onboarding experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for talent, and a deep understanding of recruitment best practices


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute recruiting plans to meet hiring goals.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
  • Conduct initial screenings, interviews, reference checks and assessments of candidates.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
  • Facilitate the offer process and onboarding of new hires.
  • Partner with department heads to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support throughout the hiring process.
  • Develop and promote a strong employer brand through use of social media and other channels.
  • Create engaging content and campaigns to attract potential candidates.
  • Track and analyze key recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of hiring efforts.
  • Prepare regular reports on recruitment activities and outcomes.
  • Develop a network of potential candidates for future job openings.
  • Maintain relationships with past applicants and passive candidates.
  • Adhere to all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Ensure a fair and unbiased hiring process.
  • Stay updated on the latest recruitment technologies and best practices.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor hiring practices.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve recruitment strategies.
  • Plan and participate in job fairs, career events, and networking opportunities.
  • Assist in conducting orientation for in-office and healthcare professional staff

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a human resources, business administration, psychology, or social sciences
  • 2 – 3 years of experience in HR with a focus on talent acquisition
  • Knowledge of human resources function with demonstrated experience in managing and delivering in an end-to-end talent acquisition process
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage high workload and changing priorities
  • Ability to exercise tact and sound professional judgment
  • Experience working with an ATS and/or HRIS
  • Microsoft 365 with intermediate excel skills
