The appointment will be at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026. Candidates must provide evidence of research excellence which can be demonstrated by a record of sustained high-impact contributions and publications in top-ranked and field relevant academic journals in the fields of strategy, sociology or economics (e.g. Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Strategic Management Journal, Management Science, Organization Science, American Economic Review, Quarterly Journal of Economics, Econometrica, Journal of Political Economy, American Journal of Sociology, Review of Economic Studies), and journals of similar caliber, the submitted research statement, presentations at significant conferences, awards and accolades, an active research pipeline, and other noteworthy activities in the fields of strategy, sociology or economics that contribute to the visibility and prominence of the discipline, as well as strong endorsements from referees. Applicants must demonstrate excellence in teaching, including a strong demonstrated ability to integrate both theory and practice; evidence of effective communication and presentation skills; a willingness to undertake graduate supervision; and a demonstrated mastery of their subject area. Experience in teaching both undergraduate and graduate students in a management program is required. Evidence of excellence in teaching will be demonstrated by teaching accomplishments, strong letters of reference, the teaching dossier, and, for short-listed candidates, a strong performance during the on-campus seminar presentation. The teaching dossier includes a teaching statement, sample course materials, or teaching evaluations. The rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
