We provide services in the field of industrial technology, including Electrical & Instrumentation, Industrial Ethernet, Cyber-security, Automation Integration, and Data Visualization & Analytics, in addition to backing each department with a strong field maintenance support team. Roles and responsibilities Installation /configuration /monitoring of PI System servers, interfaces & client tools. Planning, upgrading, implementing and supporting PI System products (servers, interfaces, client tools, etc.). Monitoring / maintenance of PI System security and deployment of patches & version upgrades. PI System performance optimization, monitoring system health (CPU, RAM, HD space). Proficiently creates reports using a variety of methods, including Power BI, SQL, TIBCO Spotfire, and other tools as appropriate Conducts data mining, including database querying, as requested to retrieve information and compile data into a functional report Support the set-up of integration workflows and field mappings Advocate for process and product changes that improve customer experience and innovate toward simplicity Coordinate QA testing, working with partners to gain access to test systems and answering internal QA team questions regarding data integration Spend time learning partner systems relevant to the Operational Data Integration and Visualization department Assist in creating technical “how-to” documents Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor of Science degree strongly preferred. 3-5 years of experience working with PI System product suite. 2-5 years of experience with SQL database systems. Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, TIBCO Spotfire). Good interpersonal, communication and consulting skills with all levels of employees and clients. Consistent track record of delivering great customer satisfaction in complex, rapidly changing environments. Well organized and able to provide high-quality work 100% of the time Sense of urgency to provide a rapid response to client requests OSIsoft certifications would be a plus (PI System Installation Specialist, PI System Infrastructure Specialist) P.Eng. would be a plus At Pengcorp, we care about our people and their professional development.
