Avanciers is seeking a highly skilled SAP Migration to join our team for an exciting 6 - 12 Months contract & Fulltime role with one of our esteemed Fortune 500 clients, based in Canada. This is a REMOTE role. Position: SAP Migration Location: Canada (Remote) We are looking for an experienced SAP Migration Specialist to lead and execute SAP system migration activities across modules, databases, and infrastructure platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP landscape management, data migration, system upgrades, cloud migration (AWS/Azure/GCP), and end-to-end cutover planning. This role ensures seamless migration of SAP systems with minimal downtime and high data integrity. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end SAP system migration activities including planning, design, execution, testing, and go-live support. Perform migrations across SAP environments such as ECC to S/4HANA , OS/DB migrations, on-prem to cloud migrations (AWS/Azure/GCP), and system consolidations. Execute data migration , validation, transformation, and reconciliation using tools such as SAP Migration Cockpit, LSMW, BODS , or custom solutions. Coordinate with Basis, Functional, ABAP, and Infrastructure teams for landscape readiness and technical changes. Manage cutover planning , mock migration cycles, dry runs, and issue resolution during migration phases. Analyze system performance, troubleshoot migration-related issues, and optimize processes. Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, security standards, and project governance. Document migration steps, test results, risks, and mitigation strategies. Provide go-live and post-migration support, including monitoring, transport management, and stabilization support. Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure smooth transition with minimal impact on operations. Required Skills & Qualifications 10+ years of experience in SAP system migration, upgrade, or landscape transformation . Strong expertise in SAP modules and migration processes (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, SCM, etc.). Hands‑on experience with SAP Basis, OS/DB migration tools, SUM/DMO, SAP HANA migration , and cloud platforms. Experience with data migration tools : SAP Migration Cockpit, BODS, LSWM, Data Services, or ETL tools. Strong understanding of database platforms (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) and OS environments (Linux/Unix/Windows). Experience in cloud migration (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure modernization. Expertise in transport management, system copy, system refresh, and SAP landscape management. Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot migration issues. Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
