We at TopHat HR, on behalf of one of our clients, are looking for a sharp, business-minded Corporate Legal Counsel to join their fast-moving group of companies across diverse industries. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with CEO and leadership teams, helping shape legal strategy and structure across multiple growing businesses. If you’ve been the legal brain behind a startup or worked in-house navigating the day-to-day (and big picture) legal needs of scaling teams — we’d love to connect. What You’ll Be Doing: Acting as a strategic legal advisor across a group of dynamic businesses. Partnering closely with founders and executives on legal frameworks that support growth and scalability. Overseeing governance, compliance, and risk while staying practical and solutions-oriented. Helping shape internal legal systems, policies, and best practices. Liaising with external counsel when needed — but staying hands-on with most legal matters. Staying ahead of legal and regulatory updates that impact our industries. What We’re Looking For: 2–4 years of legal experience, preferably in-house at startups or tech-driven companies. Solid understanding of corporate law, compliance, and working across multiple business units. Someone who thinks like a founder: practical, fast, and strategic. Excellent communication and judgment — you know how to balance legal risk with business goals. Comfortable working independently and directly with CEO and senior leaders. Proactive, collaborative, and highly adaptable to change. Why This Role? You won’t be boxed into a single area of law.
