The Senior Regional Sales Consultant will enhance Life insurance product sales within the assigned region, training, coaching and supporting distribution channels and business units to achieve sales targets. Responsibilities Promote a full range of Life Insurance solutions to Advisors and Managing General Agent (MGA) partners. Provide proactive sales and business building ideas, aligning Advisors’ goals with our insurance solutions. Manage sales growth and foster positive business relationships within the defined region. Monitor and measure competitive products, process, technology and marketing tools to meet Advisor clients’ needs and recommend improvements. Participate in seminars, trade shows and meetings to enhance awareness of CUMIS Life products and stay current with industry trends. Success Profile Demonstrated resilience and focus to achieve goals despite barriers; effectively manage sales portfolio. Build market penetration plans and apply innovative thinking to improve operational efficiencies with a client‑centric lens. Strong communication skills to influence or persuade others and facilitate mutually beneficial solutions. Build trusting relationships and provide guidance for peer development. Requirements Minimum five years experience in Life insurance sales. Post‑secondary diploma in a related field. Life license and certification(s) – CFP, CLU or ChFC. Canadian Securities Course (CSC) certificate is an asset. Expert knowledge of the Life insurance industry and sales products. Strong understanding of the Income Tax Act and working knowledge of investments, trusts, capital markets and retirement & benefits plans (asset). Proficiency in English and French is essential for servicing and communication with clients. Additional Information Regular travel required.
