We are a growing used car dealership looking for a motivated Vehicle Purchasing Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing quality used vehicles to support our inventory needs. If the candidate has experience or a strong interest in vehicle sales, this can also be discussed as part of the role. Responsibilities:Source used vehicles through auctions, private sellers, trade-ins, and online platforms Inspect and evaluate vehicles for condition, value, and reconditioning needs Negotiate purchase prices to meet dealership profit goals Maintain accurate records of purchases and vehicle details Monitor market trends and vehicle pricing Build and maintain relationships with sellers and auction partners Work closely with sales and service teams to ensure inventory readiness Optional / Additional Opportunity:Candidates who prefer or have experience in selling vehicles may have the opportunity to discuss a hybrid purchasing and sales role , depending on skills and interest. Requirements:Experience in vehicle purchasing, sales, or the automotive industry preferred Strong negotiation and communication skills Knowledge of vehicle values and market trends Ability to work independently and make sound decisions Valid driver's license Comfortable with computers and inventory systems
