At PAG Direct/Richmond Hill Hyundai, we are committed to providing top-tier service and outstanding vehicles to our customers. We are looking for a **Vehicle Evaluation Specialist** to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of customer satisfaction and quality service.

The Vehicle Evaluation Specialist plays a key role in assessing and appraising vehicles for trade-ins, purchases, and sales. This position requires a keen eye for detail, knowledge of vehicle conditions, and the ability to provide accurate evaluations to both customers and the sales team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assess and appraise vehicles brought in for trade-ins, potential purchases and/or Service Vehicles by inspecting their condition, features, and market value
- Assess and appraise vehicles listed for sales on online market platforms
- Working directly with General Sales Manager & Pre-Owned Manager on current database utilizing Lease, Finance and Cash portfolio
- Accurately determine the value of used vehicles based on factors such as age, mileage, condition, and market trends
- Provide fair, competitive, and transparent evaluations to customers while maintaining a high level of customer service
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure proper vehicle pricing and inventory management
- Document vehicle condition, including taking detailed notes on any repairs or maintenance required
- Stay updated on market trends, vehicle values, and industry standards to ensure accurate appraisals
- Offer recommendations for vehicle repairs or upgrades to increase trade-in value and resale potential
- Communicate appraisal results to customers and assist in negotiating trade-in offers
- Maintain accurate records of appraisals and ensure proper paperwork is completed
- Follow up with all protentional prospects to maximize vehicle purchases

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in vehicle appraising, automotive sales, or a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of vehicle makes, models, and market trends
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to assess vehicle conditions accurately
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build trust with customers
- Familiarity with appraisal tools, software, and industry standards
- Valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
