Overview Summer Student, Technical Assurance and Pipeline Engineering at PETRONAS Canada. This position operates within PETRONAS Canada LNG Ltd. (PCLL), the PETRONAS subsidiary governing its LNG Canada Project investment. The LNG Canada project involves building an LNG export facility (approx. 14 MTPA) in Kitimat, BC. Working with the LNG Development team in Calgary, this is a full-time student position from May to September 2026. During the summer you will gain exposure to the energy industry through sessions hosted by subject matter experts and will showcase your learnings with your student network. How You Will Contribute Supporting Plant and Pipeline Projects and Production monitoring on reporting initiatives by analyzing and improving using tools such as Power BI Assist in compiling and organizing Phase 2 FID documentation for internal reviews and approvals Cross-reference technical documents to ensure consistency and completeness as part of the overall assurance process Participate in various projects as required What You Bring Actively enrolled in an undergraduate degree or diploma program at a Canadian post-secondary institution and must be returning to studies after the work term Enrolled in Bachelor of Science, majoring in Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Computer Engineering is preferred Proficient in MS Office suite, with advanced Excel skills. Knowledge of Power BI is an added advantage Strong time and data management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Ability to collaborate and build strong working relationships with your team, peers, and diverse business groups Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Job postings are typically open for one week; please submit your resume, cover letter, and transcript today.
