This is an exciting position for an optometrist who is looking to practice full-scope and have the opportunity to pursue specialties of interest. Why You’ll Love This Opportunity Exposure Do what you love — OD will be doing full scope and a little primary care, such as eye exams and retail dispensing. About 90% of pretesting is done for the doctors, allowing them time to build strong relationships with patients and work with the optician and dispensary team for successful handoffs. Environment A lovely location — In addition to being located in beautiful Hinton, AB, our office has a fantastic team comprised of another OD, tech support, front desk, a practice manager, and our excellent opticians. Schedule & Benefits Work/Life Balance — 3-4 hours per day, sometimes 3-5; we are flexible and can accommodate seeing less or more as needed. We use smart bookings to group patients by age and allocate time accordingly. Competitive pay and benefits — We pay a percentage of revenue generated.
