As the Senior Business Systems Analyst you will liaise between the team and business stakeholders for functionality enhancements and new developments. You will be part of an exciting team responsible for translating concepts and requirements into client‑focused and effective system‑based solutions, contributing to complex initiatives through formulating and defining system scope and objectives based on user needs and a comprehensive understanding of applicable business applications. Technologies you have experience with You have working knowledge of Agile, Acceptance Test Driven Development or Test Driven Development (ATDD/TDD). You have experience with at least one of the Guidewire suite of products – PolicyCenter or BillingCenter. You have familiarity with JIRA, JIRA Service Desk and Confluence or similar tools. How you will create impact Facilitate discussions with business partners to collect, document, and validate detailed analysis of business functions, rules and processes for highly complex projects. Guide the assessment and selection of technical design solutions, acting as intermediary between the team and business stakeholders. Perform detailed data analysis, data modeling, mapping and flow to support system functionality, integrations and conversations. Develop the user acceptance test plan, strategies and lead overall testing activities for medium to large initiatives. Lead the continuous improvement of the Business Systems Analyst (BSA) practice through research, devising improvements, establishing more efficient processes and providing guidance to other team members. To join our team You have five years of experience in Information Technology or a related field. You have completed post‑secondary education in Information Technology or a related discipline. You have advanced knowledge of Agile practices, SDLC methodologies, processes and tools as well as project planning methodologies and Lean process improvement tools and techniques. Having work experience in an insurance environment is an asset.
