It consists of the Office of the CFO, Corporate Operations, Finance, Procurement, Properties, Strategy, Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Audit. ABOUT THE POSITION Director, Procurement Job Req: 1020 Division/Branch: Corporate Services / Procurement Status: Permanent - FT Reports to: Nick Knight Closing Date: January 9, 2026 Shape the future of procurement at AGLC. Lead with creativity, integrity, and impact. Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Procurement will champion AGLC’s centralized procurement function, ensuring our organization has the goods and services it needs to deliver on strategic priorities and operational excellence. This is more than a compliance role; it’s about building a modern, innovative procurement environment that balances business needs with transparency, fairness, and accountability. We’re looking for a leader who thrives on collaboration, takes initiative naturally, and inspires a culture where people feel valued and empowered. What You'll Do Provide visionary leadership to the Procurement branch, driving progressive and proactive practices that add measurable value. Guide strategic procurement planning, advisory services, procurement delivery, and vendor performance management. Build strong relationships across the organization, enabling client groups to achieve their goals while ensuring compliance with policies, legislation, and contract law. Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture where creativity, integrity, and openness are at the core of how we work. What We're Looking For A creative, positive, and innovative leader who is hungry to make an impact and naturally takes initiative. A history of progressively responsible procurement experience within a complex organization. A history of leadership experience building great work environments and high performing teams. Ability to balance operational priorities with compliance and regulatory obligations to achieve optimal organizational outcomes. Experience in the public sector or similar environments where transparency, accountability, compliance, and stakeholder engagement are key, is an asset. Professional designations that demonstrate relevant expertise are an asset.
