Position Summary The HR Coordinator supports the day‑to‑day administration of human resources, employee documentation, and internal systems that enable efficient and compliant people operations. This role is responsible for coordinating onboarding and offboarding, maintaining employee records, supporting HR and safety systems, assisting with policy development, and providing front‑desk administrative support at Head Office. Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff , the HR Coordinator works closely with leadership, safety, operations, and finance teams to ensure HR processes are organized, accurate, and scalable as the company grows. Key Responsibilities Human Resources & People Operations Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, system access, orientation support, and tracking Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee files and records in accordance with company and legislative requirements Support employee lifecycle changes such as role changes, promotions, and terminations Prepare HR correspondence, letters, forms, and internal communications as required Respond to basic HR‑related employee inquiries and elevate matters when appropriate Policy & Compliance Support Assist with drafting, editing, updating, and organizing HR policies and procedures Support policy implementation and ensure policies are properly stored, version‑controlled, and communicated Assist with compliance tracking and internal audits related to HR and safety documentation HR Systems, Document & Safety Administration Organize and maintain HR and safety systems to support scalability, efficiency, and compliance, including BambooHR, SharePoint, and Workhub Ensure employee documentation, training records, certifications, and required forms are accurately uploaded, stored, tracked, and maintained Support the creation, organization, and ongoing maintenance of Workhub onboarding content, training modules, and role‑specific learning materials Assist with safety administration in collaboration with the Health & Safety team, including documentation management, record tracking, and compliance support Support system clean‑ups, audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives across HR and safety systems Assist with HR reporting, tracking, and administrative data requests as required Office Administration & Safety Support Act as the designated Fire Warden for Head Office and support related safety coordination Provide front‑desk and reception support, including greeting visitors and managing general inquiries Support administrative tasks for the Chief of Staff and leadership team as needed Qualifications & Experience 1‑3 years of experience in an HR, People & Culture, or administrative support role Post‑secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset Experience supporting onboarding, offboarding, and employee documentation Familiarity with HR systems and document management platforms; experience with BambooHR, SharePoint, or Workhub is an asset Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Strong written and verbal communication skills Key Competencies Highly organized and process‑driven Professional, approachable, and people‑focused Strong follow‑through and ability to manage multiple priorities Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, growing organization Capable of supporting leadership and collaborating across departments Why Join BAAC Construction Opportunity to support and help build HR systems in a growing organization Work closely with the Chief of Staff and leadership team Gain exposure to HR, safety, and operational processes Be part of a company that values structure, people, and continuous improvement #J-18808-Ljbffr
