Job Description Electrical Engineer for immediate employment at the London/Kitchener, Ontario office, filling an existing position within the team. Responsibilities Perform electrical analyses, calculations, and routine tests in compliance with applicable codes and standards. Assist in preparing technical specifications, design drawings, memos, and reports. Identify discrepancies in results and propose solutions using sound engineering judgment. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to fulfill project scope, budget, and timeline. Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments to evaluate electrical conditions and provide recommendations. Provide technical or operational guidance to less experienced engineers, EITs and technicians. Stay updated on industry codes, regulations, and best practices to ensure high‑quality design solutions. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering + four (4) years of relevant professional experience. Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario in good standing. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Water & Wastewater, Transportation, Buildings, and Sustainability sectors (PV and EV systems). Experience with design tools: AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, SKM, or similar. Solid knowledge of power systems: MV/LV distribution, lighting, controls, renewable energy systems. Proficiency with engineering calculations and preparing technical documentation. Good written and verbal communication skills (English proficiency essential). Ability to recognize and adhere to established deadlines and schedules. Ability to fit into a fast‑paced team environment and/or work independently. Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and multi‑tasking. Additional Information Relocation is not available for this position. Sponsorship is not available for this position. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $65,000.00 - $85,000.00.
