Junior Compensation Administrator - Valued Government of Canada Client Position Summary The Junior Compensation Consultant provides support in the delivery of compensation services within a large federal organization. This role focuses on assisting senior staff with compensation activities, maintaining data accuracy, ensuring compliance with policies, and contributing to the smooth operation of compensation processes. This on‑site Junior Compensation Administrator role is for multiple resources with a start date in early 2026. Key Responsibilities Provide support in compensation‑related activities, including assisting with projects and day‑to‑day tasks. Collect, organize, and maintain compensation data; prepare reports and summaries to support decision‑making. Apply established policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and frameworks. Assist senior staff by preparing documentation, forms, and correspondence related to compensation processes. Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders and collaborate with HR and finance teams. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and compensation information. Participate in meetings, provide updates on assigned tasks, and contribute to team discussions. Gain exposure to compensation systems, tools, and methodologies, building knowledge for progression to more advanced responsibilities. What you must bring to this role Must currently hold a valid federal government Reliability‑level security clearance issued by CISD Must have two (2) or more years’ experience working within the Public Service Sector Must have two (2) years of experience calculating and processing benefit/entitlements for reimbursement of receipted expenses within the last five (5) years. Must have experience working in a French environment within the past 5 years (must be able to communicate in French orally and have basic French reading and writing skills) Must be willing to work on‑site in Ottawa (west) 5 days/week Only those who are qualified will be contacted.
