About the Job An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director - Finance to join Jumeirah Al Naseem . The main duties and responsibilities of this role include: Oversee the Finance and Accounting department to ensure accurate and timely financial and management reports. Ensure compliance with finance directives, legal regulations, and maintain internal accounting controls. Maintain accurate books, records, and monthly reconciliations; prepare financial statements in compliance with IFRS. Lead annual budgets and monthly forecasts; recommend major economic objectives and policies. Manage capital purchases and disposals; review management and depreciation reports. Develop and contribute to SBU finance strategies; prepare ROI evaluations for capital projects. Provide financial training and coaching; set individual development plans for team members. About You The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within 5* luxury hotel. University degree in Finance and a Professional Finance accreditation (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, CMA or CIMA). Proficiency in computer software systems such as MS Office and knowledge of Opera, Micros, Sun, and Hyperion is essential Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
