Summary The Talent Acquisition Specialist is an important part of the overall People and Culture team. MWS prides itself on being an Employer of Choice; this starts with our recruitment process. Ensuring our people-first reputation is abundant throughout our recruitment process in how we interact with potential candidates, interviewees, and new hires. Ensuring the greater community of potential candidates hears about the MWS culture, team, and current opportunities.

Responsible for full-cycle recruitment and onboarding.

Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers. Collaborating with department leads to defining job requirements, interview processes, and hiring goals. Utilize diverse channels—including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and social media to proactively find passive candidates and actively solve unique challenges that arise throughout sourcing process. Ensure positive, professional, and responsive experience for all applicants.

Maintain accurate candidate records and reports in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Assist in the initial onboarding process and ensure a smooth transition for new employees. Take time to understand the unique and varied roles throughout MWS. Draft, edit, and publish job postings and recruitment advertisements across internal and external platforms.

Understand market analyses and Talent Acquisition workflows. Develop and suggest improvements for our talent and recruitment processes and programs. Contact candidates to obtain necessary information and answer any questions/ concerns. Lead phone and face-to-face interviews, in-basket/presentation, and evaluation process.

Responsible for obtaining new business through referrals and leads. Preparing candidates for interviews, negotiations, benefits, perks, and incentives. Contact candidates and ensure they feel included throughout the process; recruitment, hiring, and declination. Prepare, organize, file, and ensure all new hire paperwork is completed.

Other duties as assigned. Competencies & Qualifications Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Sales, or other related fields. 2-4 years of recent experience in recruitment.

Experience

with social media recruiting.

Experience

with Dayforce Ceridian platform is an asset. Understand how legislative changes impact the recruitment and hiring process. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in French is not required, but it is considered a valuable asset.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Good work and attendance record required. Possess a valid driver’s licence and have the flexibility and ability to travel to all locations.
