THE OPPORTUNITY
The Risk Assistant/Coordinator provides support to the Chief Risk Officer and the Risk Department by supporting all stages of the regulatory examination process, including processing all information received from regulated institutions, and maintaining all examination workspaces. In addition, the Risk Assistant/Coordinator supports Risk Department monitoring activities around coordinating risk profile completion and maintaining credit union Microsoft SharePoint pages.
REQUIREMENTS AND EDUCATION
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (French is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Effective planning, organizing, and team coordination
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Conceptual thinking and problem solving
- Accountability
- Minimum Formal Education: Grade 12 Diploma plus additional courses
- Minimum Job-Related Experience: 3 years' experience in administration or a related field; transcription skills (such as shorthand, speedwriting, or keyboarding); and proficiency in Microsoft Office in an intermediate to advanced level.
