Job Summary This role lives within the customer engagement arm of the Digital Services Implementation Team and is a key member of the Implementation Services team. The role helps government customers create valued online services and partners with customers to enhance how government organizations support their communities through strategic experience management. You will be an expert on the AMANDA platform and a partner in the successful rollout of projects across North America. You are a customer-focused leader who collaborates with the project management team to implement products and solutions that require a higher level of technical knowledge (e.g., Web Services, internal and external APIs, SMS products, and additional product integrations) for new and existing clients. Expert technical knowledge and enthusiasm for client success are foundational to this role. Responsibilities Master the AMANDA platform – serve as the internal expert on implementation of the product. Advise customers to improve their online processes. Define features, phases, and solution requirements for client implementations. Provide specifications for how the solution will be defined, managed, and delivered. Advocate and evangelize best-practice approaches for client setups to ensure long-term success and value. Ensure implementations meet client missions and address core challenges in effective, efficient, and engaging communications. Lead and manage multiple Granicus technical product implementations in partnership with the Project Manager, on schedule and with high quality. Clarify and drive implementation commitments. Collaborate with product, engineering, and other technical stakeholders on key solutions for the customer. Develop training and implementation documentation for customized implementations. Conduct system training for client administrators and developers when applicable. Work with Process Designers and Project Managers to advise on progress and share ideas. Define acceptance criteria and verify alignment with requirements. Stay up to date on latest processes, IT advancements, and programming languages to automate and modernize systems. Communicate insights and plans to cross-functional teams. Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements. Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users; assess client needs and document solutions. Collaborate with product engineering to validate designs and produce technical requirements for product enhancements when necessary. Qualifications BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in development. High level technical literacy with a broad range of technologies used to build web applications; ability to determine how a software solution fits into an organization’s structure and to develop specifications and requirements. 5+ years of experience with APIs, PostgreSQL, MySQL, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 5+ years of experience with Python. 2-5 years of experience with React. Ability to analyze processes and identify logical conditions. Experience building online forms and workflows is strongly preferred. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams to evaluate business cases and support product investments. Proven track record of delivering technical implementations on time. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing client specifications or system limitations. Strong ability to balance technical and business needs and to work independently or in teams. Customer-focused with a passion for user experience. English and French bilingual – preferred.
