This is a full-time position based at the McIlvenna Bay site working a 14/14 rotation. As part of the Maintenance Team, the Mobile Maintenance Planner will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and organized execution of maintenance activities at the mine site. This position is responsible for managing work orders, and optimizing resources to maximize equipment uptime, minimize downtime, and contribute to the overall productivity of the mining operation. Job Responsibilities: Lay-out Responsibilities. Collaborate with maintenance teams to plan and schedule maintenance for equipment, machinery, and facilities. Create and manage work orders with defined tasks, timelines, and required resources. Review and prioritize maintenance requests, assigning resources efficiently. Coordinate with procurement and inventory to ensure timely availability of parts and materials. Optimize resource use to support efficient maintenance execution. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and performance metrics. Provide technical input during planning to ensure accurate task definition and troubleshooting support. Ensure all maintenance plans meet safety, environmental, and company standards. Prepare maintenance performance reports for management review. Job Qualifications and Skills: Interprovincial Heavy Duty Mechanic certification considered an asset. Minimum 3 years of maintenance planning experience in mining or heavy industry. Strong understanding of maintenance planning methods, tools, and systems. Familiarity with mining equipment, machinery, and maintenance practices. Excellent organization and time management to prioritize and meet deadlines. High attention to detail and accurate record-keeping. Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and departments. Proficient in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and related software. Committed to safety and proactive in promoting safe work practices. Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive starting salary range of $90,000 - $105,000/year based on experience and qualifications. Annual discretionary short term incentive award at a percentage of base salary, rewarding exceptional contributions to team and company success.
