Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of repairs and maintenance tasks in residential units across multiple properties. Starting most days at our office, you’ll receive your daily assignments, report on completed work, and stay in close communication with management and tenants. This is an ideal position for a reliable, organized individual who is proficient in general repairs, committed to excellent customer service, and capable of managing a dynamic workload.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform Repairs & Maintenance:

Complete small to medium-sized repairs, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, painting, appliance repair, and general carpentry.Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure units and property areas are kept in optimal condition.Customer Service:

Interact professionally and courteously with tenants, addressing their concerns and explaining the repair process when necessary.Ensure all maintenance work is conducted with minimal disruption to residents.Daily Reporting:

Submit detailed daily reports to the office, outlining completed tasks, ongoing projects, and any issues encountered.Maintain organized records of all maintenance activities for each unit.Punctuality & Dependability:

Arrive on time daily and complete assigned tasks within the scheduled timeframes.Respond to urgent maintenance requests as needed, maintaining a high level of reliability.Communication & Coordination:

Coordinate with the office and property management team to prioritize tasks effectively.Communicate clearly with tenants and management, updating them on repair status and expected completion times.Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 2 years of maintenance or repair experience, preferably in residential property management or a similar environment.Technical Skills: Proficiency in general repair, with knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, appliance repair, painting, drywall, and general carpentry.Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with tenants and team members.Time Management: Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose issues and determine effective solutions quickly.Physical Stamina: Able to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license required; access to a personal vehicle is preferred.Additional Skills (Preferred):

Certifications: Trade certifications in plumbing, electrical, or HVAC are a plus.Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with safety regulations and maintenance best practices.Flexibility: Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends when emergency repairs are needed.

Pay: 4K- 5K/Month
