About Pare Dating Pare Dating is transforming the dating experience for mature singles (40+) seeking trust, authenticity, and meaningful connections. We are rebuilding online dating from the ground up with a safety-first approach: mandatory ID verification, background checks, no ghosting, and a Direct-to-Date experience. We aren't just an app; we are a concierge-style service that guides members from profile creation to curated introductions. We treat people like humans, not swipe-fuel. The Role We are looking for a Founding Full-Stack Engineer who builds beautifully and uses AI as a superpower. We don’t just want someone who writes code; we want a builder who can take Figma files, product docs, or raw ideas and turn them into shipped products—quickly and cleanly. This is an opportunity to be early, shape the entire architecture, and build a product that will genuinely change lives (starting with the founder’s mom, and millions like her). What You’ll Build The Core Platform: Maintain the full stack (Next.js, Node.js, Postgres) ensuring performance, scalability, and security and implement new features and feedback from Beta AI Pipelines: Engineer our unique onboarding system (Voice Recording > Transcript > AI Profile Generation) to simplify profile creation. Trust Infrastructure: Integrate ID verification, background check APIs, and secure payment flows. Internal Operations: Build the admin dashboards and concierge ticketing systems that power our manual vetting and matchmaking teams. The Tech Stack Frontend: Next.js, Typescript, Tailwind CSS, etc. Backend: Node.js, TypeScript Data: Postgres, Supabase, Prisma. AI: OpenAI API, Embeddings, RAG agents. Who You Are AI-Native: You utilize LLM tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude, OpenAI, Gemini) to accelerate development. You believe in shipping fast and iterating often. Full-Stack Expert: You are just as comfortable tweaking CSS for a seamless mobile UI as you are optimizing database queries. Product-Minded: You care about the why and the who , not just the how . You obsess over UX and safety. Owner Mentality: You are allergic to bureaucracy. You communicate clearly, work well asynchronously, and own problems end-to-end. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering OR equivalent portfolio of shipped products. Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern web frameworks (Next.js preferred). Experience integrating APIs (scheduling, payments, identity verification). Bonus: Experience with voice processing, fraud detection, or early-stage startups. Why Join Pare?
