About the Founders and Engineering Executive:

Srinath Sridhar - CEO and Co-founder. Sridhar has a PHD from Carnegie Mellon and also has previously founded companies like Onera. He was among the first 100 engineers at Facebook and has also worked with Google and Bloomreach.

Matt Millen - Co-founder and president. Matt has rich experience in leading multiple companies as a CGO, CRO and VP Revenue. He has worked with multiple startups and has helped them build their growth story from the ground up.

John Zhang – Head of Engineering. John brings over 20 years of experience across top tech companies and high-growth startups. He has held executive engineering roles at Highspot and Weibo, where he led the Ads team, scaling it to 400 people and driving revenue to $1.5B. John has also co-founded several startups, including one that achieved a successful exit.

Responsibilities

We’re seeking a senior software engineer who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer value and driving meaningful business outcomes.

- Build and scale customer-facing web applications, focusing on frontend development in React and backend systems in Node.js.
- Identify and address system-level challenges that hinder customer value delivery and scalability.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless, intuitive, and performant user experiences.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code across the stack.
- Leverage CodeGen/GenAI tools to significantly improve development productivity and continuously explore new ways to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of both frontend and backend applications.
- Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- (Senior-level plus) Contribute to architectural decisions and set technical direction across the stack.
- (Senior-level plus) Act as a force multiplier by mentoring teammates, raising code quality standards, and fostering engineering excellence.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience as a full stack software engineer, covering both frontend and backend development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in React and modern frontend practices (state management, component architecture, testing).
- Experience developing backend services and APIs, preferably with Node.js.
- Solid understanding of both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with asynchronous processing and background jobs is a plus.
- Experience using CodeGen/GenAI tools to significantly improve productivity, and willingness to continuously improve productivity through such tools.
- Experience building and deploying customer-facing SaaS applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and a strong work ethic.
- (Senior-level plus) Proven ability to make architectural decisions and drive system-level improvements.
- (Senior-level plus) Experience mentoring engineers and setting high standards for code quality.
