Overview One of our top-tier financial services clients is seeking an experienced iOS Developer based in Toronto, Canada. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge mobile banking solutions at an enterprise level. Responsibilities Develop and enhance features in Swift for the firm’s flagship iOS mobile banking application. Implement scalable architecture and design patterns to ensure long-term maintainability. Participate in peer code reviews to maintain high-quality coding standards. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, UX/UI, QA, Security, and Fraud Prevention. Drive continuous improvement through code refactoring and performance optimization. Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on experience developing iOS applications in Swift (Objective-C is a plus). Proficiency with SwiftUI and UIKit for building rich user interfaces. Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and architectural patterns like MVC and MVVM. Experience with unit testing frameworks and writing testable code. Proficient in development tools such as Xcode and Git. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, UX standards, Accessibility requirements, and IT compliance practices. Experience in the financial services sector, particularly in banking or fintech environments. Mobile payments expertise, including integration with wallets, contactless payments, or secure transaction systems.
