Finance Business Partnering- Senior Consultant

We are seeking a seasoned Finance Business Partnering - Senior Consultant to join a high-performing Corporate FP&A team within a leading Canadian financial institution. This is a full time role and will serve as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, providing strategic financial insights, performance measurement, and decision‑support analytics. The successful candidate will act as a key finance liaison across transformation and enterprise project portfolios, leveraging financial expertise, business intelligence tools, and strong communication skills to influence strategic outcomes and support enterprise‑wide initiatives. Key Responsibilities Partner with senior leadership teams to provide strategic financial support, analysis, and recommendations Lead the development of insightful reporting, forecasting, and financial frameworks that support decision making Conduct advanced financial modeling, scenario analysis, and business case evaluation for enterprise transformation initiatives Review and challenge project business cases and financial assumptions for the Enterprise Transformation Office (ETO) and Enterprise PMO Build strong relationships with business executives to understand priorities, risks, and opportunities Translate complex financial results into actionable insights and communicate findings to senior stakeholders Proactively monitor business performance, flag emerging trends, and recommend strategic actions Champion continuous improvement, leveraging technology and analytics to enhance financial insight and process efficiency Mentor and support junior finance team members where required Required Skills & Qualifications 7+ years of progressive FP&A / financial analysis / finance business partnering experience in a complex corporate environment Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline CPA, CFA, or CBV designation required Proven experience supporting senior leadership with strategic financial insights and decision‑support Advanced Power BI skills and strong data visualization and storytelling capabilities Expert financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis skills Strong business acumen and ability to connect financial results to operational performance drivers Demonstrated ability to influence, challenge assumptions, and drive outcomes Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with ability to simplify complex concepts for non‑finance audiences Experience working on enterprise programs or large‑scale transformation environments preferred If you have the skills required to be successful in this role and you would like to learn more, please send your updated resume in MS Word format to Ben Mai at .
