Position Overview

At Autodesk, we make software for those who design and make the world – from architects and engineers to product designers and media creators. We are entering an exciting new phase of growth, fueled by Platform investments and AI innovation.  This role sits at the forefront of these next generation technologies, serving as the primary finance partner to the Senior Vice President of Autodesk Research and financially managing our central investment in Generative AI.  You will help define the long-range plan for these investments and coordinate financial execution across the company.  This is a high visibility role with exposure to senior leaders, and the opportunity to work across the entire Finance team.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Sr. Vice President of Autodesk Research to enable the successful achievement of the organization's goals

  • Build and maintain financial models and forecasts for emerging initiatives in AI

  • Autodesk financial processes: Annual and Long-Range Planning, Forecast and Close

  • Provide data backed narratives for executive audiences

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years in corporate finance, investment banking, or management consulting with a focus on strategy or technology

  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross functional leaders, including senior executives

  • Understanding and interest in emerging AI technologies

  • Advanced financial modeling skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a knack for distilling complexity into executive ready insights

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree a plus

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $123,700 and $170,060. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
