Position Title : Fire Detection Pilots (C337) – 2026 Fire Season Employment Type : Full Time, Seasonal Contract Location : Various throughout Ontario & Saskatchewan Role of a Fire Detection Pilot Detection Pilots support our Fire and Survey contracts and act as Pilot‑In‑Command of the Cessna 337 Skymaster. As a Detection Pilot, you will conduct VFR patrols in search of lightning and human‑caused wildfires across Northern Ontario and Saskatchewan. Aerial fire detection plays a critical role in the government’s wildfire management strategy, helping ensure wildfires are detected early when they are still small enough to be controlled. Your Qualifications Transport Canada Commercial Pilot License and Multi‑Engine Rating Category 1 Medical Valid Group 1 Instrument Rating (Ideal but not mandatory) Why join MAG Aerospace Canada? $2,500 Signing Bonus (Paid upon completion of PPC). $2,500 Performance Bonus (Paid upon completion of contract).
