Role and Facility Information Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) is a 273‑bed tertiary referral centre and Level 1 Trauma Centre serving nearly 250,000 individuals within the Thompson–Cariboo–Shuswap Health Service Area. The Phil and Jennie Gaglardi Tower, opened in summer 2022, houses a new multi‑disciplinary stroke/rehabilitation unit and advanced mental health and surgical services. Practice Details Join our growing neurology team at RIH and help shape neurological care in our region. We provide a full‑spectrum neurology practice, covering general neurology, acute stroke (including thrombolysis), and inpatient care in collaboration with hospitalist and internal medicine teams. Outpatient services are delivered in the new Clinical Services Building, with a TIA/stroke clinic operating five days a week, a state‑of‑the‑art EMG lab, and an EEG lab offering both inpatient and outpatient services. Further expansion includes a rapid‑access neurology clinic and additional subspecialty clinics. Clinical teaching opportunities are available with UBC clerkship and residency programs, and you may engage with on‑site family medicine, internal medicine, psychiatry, and neurology residents. Locum guarantee of $15,000 for a 7‑day week, including travel and accommodation Leadership development through Interior Health’s NAVIG8 Program Clinic Details RIH’s new Phil and Jennie Gaglardi Tower offers advanced mental health units, surgical services, a new post‑anesthetic recovery room, a pediatric unit, and a revamped emergency entrance. Future projects include a $359‑million cancer centre expected to be operational by 2028. Compensation Fee‑for‑Service Estimated Remuneration $500,000 + MOCAP Level 1 Benefits and Incentives Relocation reimbursement up to a maximum of $9,000 for moves within BC, $12,000 for moves within Canada, and $15,000 for those relocating from outside Canada (eligible receipts required). Relocation incentives are subject to change and current rates are confirmed at the time of offer.
